Join Marietta-based artist Philip Myrick for an intimate five-week acrylic painting course held in his working studio, located inside a beautifully refurbished barn. Designed for artists of all skill levels, this small-group experience offers personalized instruction, creative exploration, and a welcoming environment to develop your painting practice.
Over the course of five Saturdays, students will learn essential acrylic painting techniques including color mixing, composition, brushwork, layering, texture, and developing a personal artistic voice. Each session combines demonstrations, guided exercises, and one-on-one feedback tailored to your individual goals and experience level. We will skip the Saturday of October 31st for Halloween and continue the week of the November 7th.
